Charleston Wedding Planner & the Composite Bouquet
Back in the 1940’s and 1950’s the Glamelia Wedding Bouquet, also known as a Composite Bouquet. As a Charleston Wedding Planner I have seen it start to have an increase in popularity. The Composite Bouquet is made up of individual flower petals to make it look like one big giant flower. Below are some examples of the Composite Bouquet.
What does the Charleston Wedding Planner think these bouquets are made of?
There are different ways to design a composite bouquet using a variety of flowers made from different materials. Whether you use preserved, paper, silk, or any other artificial flower petals, you can make a composite bouquet. The choices are based on your personal preferences. As a Charleston Wedding Planner we are here to help you make your visualization into your actualization.
Charleston Wedding Planner – D.I.Y Project?
If you are interested in making the composite bouquet yourself here are some easy steps to follow:
Supplies: bundle of flowers/petals of your choice (peonies work well), craft glue, paper plates, scissors, decorative button of your choice
If you buy the artificial flowers first start by pulling the flowers off the stem and separating them (leave one flower bundle on the stem for the end). You will then cut the flowers into individual petals. Try separating them by shape and size if possible. Next, take two paper place and cut them into circles, one smaller than the other. You will then start gluing the petals around the edges of the circle. Now for the flower you left alone earlier, cut the entire flower from the stem. Cut out the center (sometimes yellow with artificial peonies) and replace it with the decorative button. Cut a hole into the middle of the two paper plates and line them up starting with the bigger plate with petals on the bottom, then the smaller plate, then the flower bundle.
